Initially ensure the KOALA is correctly aligned around your phone. Some phones have a camera protrusion that requires slight adjustment of the harness position. The KOALA may sit over one of your phone's side buttons, but they will still work just fine.

The KOALA 2.0 was designed for active use where screen access is secondary to security. Some minor screen edge coverage may occur, but most of our customers find this is a worthwhile trade-off for the security the KOALA provides.

One of our goals as a company is to reduce e-waste in our natural landscapes (lost or fallen phones) and in landfills (damaged, then trashed phones). We see our place in the chain as extending the lives of these tiny computers that are now part of our everyday adventures.

Slide a corner of the KOALA Harness over the corresponding corner on your phone to anchor it. Make sure the leash is centered at the bottom of your phone. Then stretch each corner to secure the harness over the remaining 3 corners and your KOALA is holding your phone securely.

Using the KOALA clamp is simple! Just follow these easy steps: 1. Pull the tab of the clamp to open it. 2. Once the clamp is open, slide it onto your chosen attachment point, like a jacket seam or backpack strap. 3. Push the tab downwards to lock and secure the clamp in place. Done!

Simply rinse your KOALA with some warm water and you should be good to go. Better yet, take it with you in the shower to save some water! Pro Tip: Don't forget to remove your smartphone before giving it a wash.

The best spots for attachment are: the edge of a waistband, the edge of a back pocket, the edge of a collar, the front of a shirt pocket, and nylon straps like those on a backpack. These locations provide the strongest grip for the clamp.

The tether is what we call the Goldilocks length — just right. If you need to let go of your phone for a second, it hangs down about a foot. The tether can stretch up to 4 feet for those selfie-worthy moments.
